Communication is essential for MHL. Inwardly, it supports the triad of artistic creativity and productivity, scientific knowledge and pedagogical teaching; outwardly it conveys an image between MHL and outsiders, as well as prospective students, visitors, guests and representatives of culture, society, politics and the media.

The areas Artistic Administration (KBB), Marketing and Press office are responsible for the coordination and implementation of external and internal communication of MHL.

The staff of the Artistic Administration (KBB) is responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation of all University events. With around 300 events a year, the MHL is one of the largest concert promoters in Schleswig-Holstein. During the semester, students and faculty demonstrate their artistic abilities on stage every day in Ag亚游国际集团_皇族电子竞技俱乐部-官网app下载 and at other venues. From symphony concerts, opera, pop concerts, examination concerts, class parties, public lectures and presentations to the Brahms Festival well-established throughout Germany: all are extremely popular to the public. Before, during, after the event and behind the stage, the KBB ensures everything goes smoothly.

The primary task of the subject area Marketing is the best presentation and positioning of the MHL in the public eye. Questions concerning target groups, after the presentation of MHL events, ideas and products are important, just as is their pricing. Corresponding analyzes, target definitions and planning strategies are also part of this, as well as operational implementation and monitoring. The field of Marketing is responsible for external communication, both editorially and for the production and distribution of all print products such as evening and monthly programs, posters, postcards, ads and image products. The final editing of the MHL website is also an integral part of Marketing’s activities.

The Press Office of MHL is the point of contact for all media representatives. It prepares and publishes news about the work and projects of MHL in the form of regularly published media information. This includes events, such as press releases as well as the highlights of concerts. In addition, individual messages appear in the fields of research, academic development and teaching. The press office is also responsible for daily in-house communications, including internal notices and care of the MHLnet at the same time.
